It is well known that boarding schools
are any day better when compared to the usual next door schools. Boarding
schools in India considered one of
the best in the world, due to the quality of education and extra-curricular
offered. But there are a lot of poor boarding schools which can ruin your
child’s future all over. Hence one must be really choosy in picking the right
boarding school, so that they don’t regret about their
child’s future later. Boarding schools in Delhi particular are numerous, but there are equal number of bad schools
to the good ones.
1.
The quality of teachers
A
good school must definitely have good teachers. Hence before admitting your
ward into a boarding school, always remember to enquire the standards of
teachers. Boarding schools in India always
do a background check to all the teachers who they take in. they make sure that
they have really high educational background and teaching capabilities, by
giving them a trial run. The better the teachers, the better the quality of
education.
2.
The learning and teaching procedure
If the school is just going to
concentrate on the academics and not on the other extra-curricular then it is
not different from a normal school. Hence make sure that the school gives equal
preference to other activities apart from academics. Also make sure that the
teaching methodology is creative and interesting.
3.
The facilities available
The school must be vast and huge.
Children must have every facility they need available for them anytime, any
day. Good gymnasiums, clean swimming pools, huge play grounds everything must
be available to your child.
4.
International and national recognition
Always check on the school online. Boarding
schools Delhi, India all of them
have creative and interesting websites under their name. We can check on the
facilities through this website. Make sure that all these schools have
international recognition and have high rankings on the boarding schools of
India’s list.
5.
The location of the school
The school must be located in a good
geographic area. This area must suit your child’s general living. Boarding
schools in India generally are

Teachers and the Moral values in boarding schools
Today the perspective about boarding school
has substantially transformed and the notion is totally contrary to what was
preached earlier. For instance, stories like “Catcher in the Rye”, “A separate
peace”, “School Ties” and “Dead Poet’s Society” exhibit boarding school as a
cold and distant place where discontented adolescents are threatened to be sent
by their parents.
For most of the parents and children,
opting for a boarding school isn’t a very lucid or simplified decision, the
child requires to adjust in a totally new environment, this poses an emotional
challenge on the parents as well as children too. Moreover, myths regarding the
boarding schools do not exist anymore, it is no more considered as a place
where troublesome kids are sent and trained instead it is a place where
students are taught to excel in all walks of like be it academics, cultural or
athletics. Statistics reveals that students who have passed from boarding
schools are way more successful than the ones getting trained in the day schools.
Moreover, they get good pay scales and are extreme philanthropic too. There are
different types of boarding schools as per ones need and requirements like the
co-ed, all girls, all boys, pre-professional, military etc.

Boarding Schools: A Home Away From Home
Boarding schools, at the outset were not most
accepted as an alternate for the day schools. However, it was not till the
recent times that it was recognized that these schools
actually promote and encourage the growth of these students. The word boarding
has been used for these schools in the sense of bed and board, meals and
residence.
Aspects
of boarding schools
Depending on the country, the location, norms and
culture of the country, these boarding schools also have their own rules and
regulations framed accordingly. These schools serve as the training houses of
kids from the very early age. They are trained in interacting with various
kinds of people and handling them independently of their parents.
Sending children to these schools makes them realize
the value of their actual home. It teaches them to venture out of their comfort
zone and adjust to any kind of circumstances that you put them in. The teachers
in such schools usually reside within the premises of the school itself that
promotes the student-teacher relationship.
These teachers are traditionally expert in their
subjects and very passionately impart knowledge to these children. Further,
discipline is never a problem in these schools which assists the teachers in
performing their work without having to run behind the students to get smallest
tasks done.
The infrastructure in these schools is commendable. You
ward is assured to avail the best of facilities. That’s not all; the children
in boarding schools are also active sports persons. They are made to
participate in different sports and arts programs. Most of these schools also
have special teachers and mentors in certain specific field such as art and
drawing, carpentry, ceramics, fashion designing, cooking classes and many more.
This facilitates your child’s overall development, in addition to optimum
education. When in a boarding, you are surrounded by your friends 24*7. This is
a license to have fun and enjoy life at all times. There are no lows in life in a boarding school in India.
Last but not the least, a boarding teaches you to be
the master of your actions and deeds. This creates a sense of responsibly and
accountability among the children. They learn to be independent of their
parents and family. The face the personal, emotional, financial challenges all
on their own and take down this adventure of life all by themselves.

Boarding School: Non-Boring Lifetime Experience
Define best boarding
school in India: A place where a parent sends his child where he doesn’t like
the child and wants the child to suffer and a place where the child becomes a
rogue villain and doesn’t end up listening to the father anymore. If this is
your belief of a boarding school, I regretfully tell you my friend stop
watching too many Bollywood flicks. Boarding schools are a smarter option for
parents who want to the child to stay on campus and grow on his own learning
the terms of life by his own experiences.
Why
choose a boarding school in Delhi?
A boarding school in
Delhi is a smarter option for people who have a strong dislike towards the
education system provided by the public schooling. Boarding schools are almost
alike private schools, cut off from the whole public school circuit and hence
are an environment which promotes growth and development. The only major
difference between a boarding schools and private classes are they have
boarding facility that means the kid gets to live on the school property, wow; it’s
like living in house with all your school friends and having a pretty huge
playground. That’s one life would want!
Unlike what society
tells you about boarding school in India being a negative experience, boarding
schools are preferably the best atmosphere a kid can grow in because there he
is taught the basics of living and benefits of rules. The boarding schools also
offer various off campus benefits for the kids provided they behave and
maintain the decorum of the school they represent. Moreover, there are
supervised camp trips, trekking opportunities, community service and nature
hikes. Overall boarding is not always stuck in the room.
Attendance of the best boarding schools in India can vary from yearly to academic completion. In the yearly
package the kid can avail the boarding function and attend school up to one
year. This solely depends upon the reason of the kid being there and parent’s
preference. A child can stay in boarding for his entire schooling span. The
boarding schools allot 1 to 4 vacations per year to visit their loved ones and
clear their head off the grasp the studies a bit faster.
If taken in a positive
manner, a boarding school develops a
kid from a small age to be independent and gives him skills to survive the
harsh world out there. My personal choice, “Yes to boarding schools!”

Boarding Schools: Live-In Schooling
Boarding
school is a kind of a home schooling because children are meant to live here
during the whole period of a particular session. All the basic necessities of a
child that includes food, lodging and study are provided in the same place. Boarding
schools in India are full-time living schools. Most of the boarding schools in
India are offering a full-time educational program with some additional
activities like sports and cultural activities.
Perfect opportunity for working parents
Let’s talk about the
lifestyle of Delhi or any other metro or big city and the increasing trend of boarding schools in Delhi. The people of these cities sustain a very hectic life style.
They have to cope up perfectly with their professional as well as personal
life. The high competitive market of this era has made it so difficult for
anyone to make out some time for their personal lives. Sometimes this leads to
stress and frustration. Working Parents often seem to face these difficulties
as it has been very hard for them to spend quality time with their children.
Because of their busy schedule, they are not able to look after the studies of
their children. Due to such reasons, boarding school in Delhi and other major
cities are a good option for those parents who have a hectic lifestyle which
makes it difficult to manage children at day schools.
Pros And Cons Of A Boarding School
Boarding
schools are very popular in India these days. The best boarding schools in
India are located in hilly areas in the healthy and peaceful environment. These
live-in schools have their own advantages and disadvantages. The main problem
that is faced by the children even in the top boarding schools is lack of
family support as they are not able to contact their family on a daily basis.
The main advantage of
living in a boarding school is that it gives an opportunity for children to
develop a sense of maturity. Children who are living in board are more
independent than those children of simple day-schools. Having no back support
of parents during boarding life, they tend to become wiser and emotionally
strong. Various social interactions and seminars are organized by most of the
boarding schools of Delhi to provide worldly exposure to students. In this way boarding
schools play an important role in overall development of a child.

Should Cell Phones Be Allowed In Schools?
This is a debatable topic and brings
in different views and concerns. Should cell phones be allowed in schools?
Parents do not hesitate buying the latest equipment for their kids and they
equip the child with cell phones so that he is contactable at all times. The
ever doting parents strongly believe that cell phones should be allowed in
school so that timely action can be undertaken during emergencies. There have
been instances of terror attacks and shootings and the concerned parent wants
his child to be secure and receive timely help.
But, the school authorities think otherwise
and are averse to this line of thought. The school administrations want a
complete ban on cell phones in schools. Well, they have their own set of
arguments to support their objection.
The school authorities argue that
crime gets unchecked with the usage of cell phones in schools. Some children
take to drugs and can procure and order drugs while in school, so that they can
have it collected right at the school gate. This saves the child from the questions
of the parents .Cell phones if used in large numbers in a common place during emergencies
may lead to the risk of the servers crashing with the heavy load on their
systems. Instead of helping, this may act as a deterrent in reaching out for help
when required.
Owing to the arguments cited above, the best boarding schools in India do not encourage cell phones in schools and are quite strict
on this rule.
The best schools in India have their
own security system very strong and they have their internal committees which
are equipped to meet any emergency
which may so arise.DPS Schools in Delhi, Cambridge School in Delhi have a
complete ban on the cell phones. They have a written clause wherein it is
mentioned that if found in the premises, would be confiscated and action taken upon.
This is not only for the schools in Delhi but all the Cambridge Schools in
India and all the DPS schools in
India, they all follow on code of conduct which is common to all their schools
in India.
